Personal checks, money orders, and traveler's checks made payable to the “State of NH DMV.".MasterCard, VISA, and American Express credit cards.The New Hampshire Division of Motor Vehicles (DMV) accepts: Pay the new driver's license fee: $50 for a Standard License and $60 for a Real ID license.Submit the Application for Driver's License or Non-Driver ID Card (Form DSMV450).Be prepared to pass the knowledge test IF your out-of-state license is expired.Submit proof of Social Security number, if you want a REAL ID license.Provide proof of New Hampshire residency (2 documents for a REAL ID-compliant license) no older than 60 days. You must relinquish your valid out-of-state driver's license and apply for a new NH driver's license within 60 days of moving to New Hampshire.
